mikuni tm 36 problem

Hi ,i placed a bid on a mikuni tm36 carb.But i just compared the carb with a picture of a tm36 and found out it is missing a black cap on top.
Is this a problem for the functioning of the carb?

This link does not work Have a look at Mikuni Topham, go to "VERGASER-KITS nach FAHRZEUGMARKE", choose "SUZUKI", then "DR350 - TM36-31 Flachschieber Vergaser-Kit". Then klick on "ERSATZTEILE" and you get a Microfiche with spareparts for this carb. Seems like part No. 7. is missing...

But for shure could you please give us the complete link of your auction?

yes correct.it is nr 7 (Schieberdeckel)

I see more differences and the carb i am mentioning looks very old,maybe there is a schieberdeckel on top but a old type?????

nein das ist schon der Richtige, es ist nur eine älteres Modell. (siehe auch die Verkleidung der Stößelstange für die Beschleunigerpumpe und den Stutzen auf der Motorseite) Der Deckel ist da schon drauf, er ist halt nicht schwarz beschichtet. (sondern in rosa )
Außerdem ist der Vergaser auf deinem Bild mehr von untern fotografiert.

...gebrauchte TM36 kosten so zwischen 100,- und 200,- Euro. Doch du musst selber wissen was er dir Wert ist.
Der auf deinem Bild sieht ja schon etwas älter aus, aber das hat ja nichts zu sagen. Wichtig ist das alle Gewinde, der Gasschieber und seine Führung noch okay sind. Und das ist halt bei ebay so eine Sache.

Gebe uns doch mal einen Link zur Auktion.

somebody has outbid me,i think i am going to buy a new one.And i don't recomend this carb ,it looks old and dirty.
