Hello, i just thought to use english speaking part of this great forum, because nobody else is not  Yes my 97/DR350SE is now at 102500km, and after 8 years of riding in Finnish forests i still love my bike and would not change it for anything :respekt:

Thanks Tom

At 40000km i became worried, how much little motor can eat kilometres,so i decided open up the head of motor. My worries were useless, because motor was ok, but since head was opened i decided to put new stock size piston (no boring) and new exhaust valves in. But original parts would have gone also many ten thousand km still ahead. I guess, i was little paranoid at the moment and did not understand that DR350 is unbreakable :uups:
Since then motor has not opened, even clutch plates and cam chain are still original, and think about this, i drowned my bike to the river in Lappland, and i had to ride my bike over 50km almost 1litre water in the engine, and it still refused to break after such poison treatment

I always hoped that my bike will make the 100000km
I`ve got "only" 52000 today, but hearing your message I don`t have to concern about the future 48000km anymore :mopped:

where do you live in Finland? I´m looking for a destination for summer holidays next year :zwinker: with large offroad part (I travel by bike only) for about 2 weeks
you know I'm born to loose
and gambling is for fools
but that's the way I like it baby
I don't want to live forever
